Welcome to Guru Nanak Gurdwara Wednesfield

Based in the heart of Wednesfield town centre, our Sikh temple is here to serve the Sikh and local community with Gurbani, Kirtan and other cultural education and activities.

About GNG Wednesfield

Originally opened in 1980 it was a big feat by the local community and its then Trustees, to have a Gurdwara Sahib for its local Sangat.

Wednesfield then was a small village nestled amongst the larger area of Wolverhampton. Prior to this the Sangat would travel to Vernon Street or Cannock Road Gurdwara and it was not until Vernon Street Gurdwara moved to Sedgley was a decision taken to open a local Gurdwara Sahib.
